month of craft photos: the final installment

You can usually find Cash underfoot somewhere, until he gets tired of getting up every 2 minutes when I iron.  Or else begging to get on the couch.

I like the contrast of fragile and utilitarian.  Although the teacup is pretty heavy duty.

Decorative crocheted back and a pleasing pretty palette.

Ugh, if only there were more time in the day.  By the time I get home to craft, it’s dark out.

Check out my tutorial for my first stash organizing overhaul.

Back of my slowly growing Meandering Vines Shawl.

Just yarn… it doesn’t get much simpler than that.

Felted wool ball necklace… working on a tutorial so be on the lookout!

a month of craft photos: another progress report

I’m not a good daily photographer, but this is still good practice!  Here are days 11-20.

A commission for a friend who’s having a baby.

My friend made me these magnets for Christmas in the style of Handmade Ryan Gosling.

I love this teal/orange/red color pallete.

Most nights find me on the couch knitting…

Colorwork… I’ve done it a couple of times, but never anything intensive so it feels like a new skill every time.

Another baby commission.

A super soft slouchy hat.  Pattern here.

My Christmas haul and some old favorites.

To keep the needles from meeting the feet.

The leftovers from a marathon bag making session.

a month of craft photos: progress report

I’m not the most diligent of daily photographers, but I’ve done okay so far…

So no day 1 because I jumped into the challenge a day late and no day 4 because the prompt was “outside inspiration” and it was grey and dismal outside… no inspiration to be had, other than inspiration to go back inside and curl up on the couch.  That’s crafty, right?

a month of craft photos

Via Jacey and Andi

A couple of years ago I tried to do a 365 project and made it maybe about 60 days in.  (That seems to be my limit for most habit forming activities.)  So 30 days ought to be a snap… providing I can just get started.  I just got a new fancy phone so I am hoping this challenge will accomplish 3 things:

  1. Give me something to blog about regularly.
  2. Help me do something crafty every day.
  3. Get me to remember to take photos more regularly.

I”ll probably post photos once a week, so check back and see if I can manage to stay on track :)
